Nancy Brown’s work reflects her fascination with light. 
Although the subjects vary widely- from flowers and still lives to glass and crystal, from the beach to paintings of her children - the underlying theme involves light and shadows, darkness and the light.
She works primarily in transparent watercolors with an occasional foray into mixed media and pastel.
Nancy’s work has been displayed in Austin, Texas at the Ramirez Gallery, the Westlake Barnes and Noble’s, The Hills Fitness Center and the Lost Creek Country Club.
Nancy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Austin, TX. She works with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and anxiety and grief counseling to support for adults with AD/HD, including Cogmed Working Memory Training (tm).
